WHAT CFE’S MUST KNOW

Just a short while ago, the words “cryptocurrency” “blockchain technology “Bitcoin” were unknown words to most of us. But, with the current boom in the Bitcoin, which has reached unprecedented hype, the digital coins and technology have captured the attention of the public, regulators and law enforcement. Over the course of this last year, all the hype has caused, many in the pubic have acquired a fortune out of trading cryptocurrencies, while others have incurred huge losses. Therefore, it is imperative that CFE’s understand it and determine how to mitigate the risk of losses to the public at large.

Learning Objectives: -

In this two-hour session CFE’s will be able to define and understand:

  • The concept and technology of Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) and Block Chain Technology. 
  • Identify the red flags and ways it is used by criminals to defraud the public.
  • What we (CFE’s) can do to mitigate the risk.
