According to a federal indictment, the vice president and general counsel of an LLC arranged for a Maryland-based political consultant for the 2016 state state senator’s congressional campaign, to cause the LLC to transfer thousands of dollars from its accounts to the LLC's executive who then contributed that money to the state senator’s 2016 congressional campaign.
