The person who served for more than a decade as the treasurer of Friend of Luke Clippinger, is accused of stealing more than $87,000 from the campaign, according to charges filed by the Office of the State Prosecutor Thursday. Del.  Clippinger is the House speaker pro tem. The charges come almost a year after the delegate fired the treasurer, who allegedly cashed a dozen checks over a four-year period. Source: https://marylandmatters.org and  https://osp.maryland.gov/
