Maryland Chapter Scholarship Program

Scholarship Chairman Stephen J. Lesniewski Jr. (L)

presenting the 2008 scholarship to Harry J. Barlow (R).

The Maryland Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is proud to name Harry J. Barlow as the recipient of the Maryland Chapter’s 2008 CFE Scholarship.  Harry was a US Postal Inspector since 1985 and retired in 2005.  He has investigated all types of financial, internal, identity, and mail fraud cases during his 20 years of service.  At his time of retirement Harry Barlow was the Mail Theft Team Leader in the Baltimore office directing the day to day operations of eight inspectors.  Upon his retirement, Harry immediately returned to the work force and is still employed as a Senior Fraud Investigator with Johns Hopkins University.  Harry has been an Associate Member of the Maryland Chapter for the past year and looks forward to becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner after taking the ACFE Prep Course and subsequently the CFE test.  We congratulate him and wish him the best of luck.
